Elizabeth Knight
I specialize in copyediting chemistry-related academic papers and medical regulatory documents.
Clear communication is my goal.
medical editing
I have been editing common technical documents since 2022. Documents I have edited include patient narratives, clinical reports, and nonclinical reports.
academic editing
I have been editing papers in materials science, food chemistry, organic chemistry, photochemistry, battery technology, and environmental science since 2018. Manuscripts I have edited include journal articles, book introductions, grant applications, and research summaries.
Papers I have edited have been published in Chemical Communications, Chemistry - A European Journal, Electrochimica Acta, Electrophoresis, Journal of Food Science, Journal of Materials Science, Journal of Organic Chemistry, Macromolecules, Organic Letters, RSC Advances, Synlett, Synthesis, and more.
research
I received my master's degree in organic chemistry after completing a thesis on the use of zirconocenes and organolanthanides as catalysts for organic synthesis. I then spent ten years doing research and development on photolithographic coatings.
